Miguel is a twentysomething living in Park Slope who owns a dog. He earns a living telling people what they should eat and what wine they should drink.

In his spare time he catches up on crossword puzzles, learning about Italian wine, and watching movies.

He used to be in the Bay Area doing stuff with food and that whole movement, and before that he was in school studying how to plan cities and how people talked.

In high school he was kind of a big deal, and only with the nerds, at that.

He's left-handed and owns many, many Moleskine notebooks.

Introducing Placefav

Today I am proud to announce the launch of Placefav, a simple tool that lets you keep track of and share your favorite places with friends and family. Placefav allows you to make a simple list of your favorite neighborhood spots, then share it as easily as passing around a link; here’s mine: kyle.placefav.com.

As the site is still in its early stages, I’d love to hear any feedback, suggestions, or bug reports you may have! I have some really neat location-aware features planned, and will be working feverishly to keep Placefav the easiest way to share your favorite places. Follow this tumblelog for future happenings.
